Have we found the real Rika Izumi?

[edit]

The s-woman.net page lists her name as "Izumi Rika" in hiragana, but the kanji representing her given name is different. So, is this the real deal, or are we chasing kagemusha again? Gpietsch (talk) 01:38, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's definitely her - compare images. She's only aged four years. ~ Wapiko (talk) 21:29, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Birth date?

[edit]

I've seen October 11, 1988 listed at her new site; older information lists her birth date as November 10, 1988. Which is it? Has Snow Rabbits been lying to us again? -- Gpietsch (talk) 02:45, 27 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is kind of weird. It's possible that, because of how the Japanese write their dates (YYYY-MM-DD format), that someone misunderstood the date format and instead of 1988-10-11 wrote 1988-11-10 and it went from there. However, I'm checking the first edit for the Japanese Wikipedia and it says November 10th - it remained this way until the July 21st edit by Naganasuko. So who knows what's going on? D: I should've paid more attention when her new talent profile got opened. (>_<); (But October 11th is a good day! :D That's pretty cool, means she and I have something in common <3)
On a side note, what do you mean "lying to us again"? ~ Wapiko (talk) 04:03, 27 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
They've been the source of a lot of misinformation about her in the past, and her birthdate is one of those tidbits. Gpietsch (talk) 17:58, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I changed the birthdate to the October date because I saw this blogpost about a get together to celebrate her birthday - in October - I think the date was just transcribed wrong from the Japanese article . Sayerslle (talk) 19:15, 17 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Slashed!

[edit]

About 2,000 characters were slashed from this page! Some of that has to come back in. Gpietsch (talk) 18:57, 18 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
